Jim Lofgren is the General Manager of Klarna in North America and General Manager of Global Partnerships, based in New York. Klarna is a leading payments solutions provider, founded in 2005 in Stockholm, Sweden.

Prior to joining Klarna, Jim Lofgren was GM & Chief Merchandising Officer at CommerceHub, a leading cloud based technology platform that enables online retailers to expand their assortment. At CommerceHub, he was responsible for helping more than 50 major retailers such as Walmart, JCPenney, Kohls, Home Depot, QVC and Costco to expand their growing their online sales through expanding endless aisle assortment utilizing proprietary analytics tools and CommerceHub's network of 9,000 drop ship suppliers.

He is educated at Harvard University and received his MSc in Management at London School of Economics and Political Science and HEC Paris in 2004. Jim Lofgren subsequently joined Redcats, a global ecommerce group owned by Kering. At Redcats, he held various positions such as VP of Ecommerce at Ellos Group, CEO of La Redoute in the Nordic countries, and VP/GM of FullBeauty.com in North America.

In 2013, he was part of the executive management group who sold the FullBeauty Brands to private equity firms Charlesbank and Webster Capital, and in 2014 he was part of the executive management group at CommerceHub that acquired Mercent.
