Founder and CEO
Michael Griffin is a catalyst for innovation among retail marketers focused on creating cutting-edge marketing strategies that drive lucrative ecommerce results. He’s continuously mapping out the future of digital advertising, AI-based strategies, and digital commerce. An active member of the Board of Directors, Michael frequently shares his vision of evolving retail trends and crafts strategies to help retailers navigate the industry. With a seat on Google’s Performance Media Council, Michael fosters a collaborative partnership with Google and helps to advise the development of their products. His work and perspective have been featured in major media outlets, including The New York Times, WSJ, Inc. Magazine, the Search Insider and TechCrunch.

Michael’s first venture into the online retail space began over 18 years ago, managing paid search for where he helped grow revenue by 300% year-after-year, eventually becoming Amazon's largest worldwide partner in search. He’s now the founder and CEO of Adlucent, a performance-driven digital marketing agency in Austin, Texas. What began as bootstrapped company, Adlucent has since grown into a innovative, profit-generating business working with over 100 retail and CPG businesses.

Prior to founding Adlucent, Michael attended the University of Texas at Austin pursuing a PhD in analytical chemistry. He received his BS degree from Davidson College and is the recipient of the prestigious Watson Fellowship.
